In addition to a career in literature or writing, there
are a number of other possibilities open to English majors,
including law, education, public relations, library science,
information research, journalism, business, the ministry,
and professional writing. There are many jobs and careers
open to English majors. The difficult challenge is not in
deciding what to do with an English major, it is deciding
which direction to go along the career path.
